Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement explains how GalaxyRetro, LLC d/b/a Galaxy TechWorks (“Galaxy TechWorks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through the MediaNamer website, including general inquiries and MediaNamer mailing-list signups.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your email address, optional name, the contents of an inquiry, and your communication preferences. When you choose to join a mailing list, we also record the consent you provide at signup and the date and time it was captured.

Our security and hosting providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, and anti-abuse signals. Cloudflare Turnstile is used to help protect forms from automated submissions.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, send the updates you request, maintain and improve the website, protect against fraud and abuse, and meet legal or operational obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated advertising.

MediaNamer mailing list

You will receive MediaNamer updates, launch news, early-access communications, announcements, promotions, and newsletters only when you actively opt in. We may use a reputable email-delivery or mailing-list provider to manage subscriptions, confirmation messages, distribution, unsubscribe requests, and delivery diagnostics.

Each mailing-list email will include a way to unsubscribe. You may also contact us to withdraw consent. Withdrawal will not affect communications that were sent before your request was processed.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help operate the website, secure forms, host services, process email, or support communications, and only as needed for those purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not rent or sell mailing lists.

Retention

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Mailing-list information is retained while you remain subscribed and for a limited period afterward to document consent, honor suppression requests, and maintain delivery records. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information.

Your choices and requests

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs, by contacting contact@medianamer.com.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to appropriate protections when required.

Children’s privacy

The website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this statement

We may update this Privacy Statement as the website, MediaNamer, or the services used to operate them evolve. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date when material changes are made.
